Actual Weight and Volume Weight Definitions:
Actual Weight: The weight obtained after weighing the parcel.
Volume Weight: The parcel's length x width x height (cm) ÷ 6000.
Charge Methods:
Non-Volumetric: When the difference between the volume weight and actual weight is within 20 kg, charges are based on the actual weight.
Half-Volumetric: When the difference between volume weight and actual weight exceeds 20 kg, charges are based on the average of actual weight and volume weight.
Normal Volumetric: Charges are based on the greater of volume weight and actual weight.
Cubic Meter: Charges are determined based on the parcel's volume (length x width x height ÷
1000000).
Example Illustration:
For a parcel with an actual weight of 5 kg, a volume weight of 15 kg, and dimensions of 50 cm x 50 cm x 50
cm
Charge Methods | Chargeable Weight | |
Non-Volumetric | 15kg - 5kg = 10kg(within 20kg) | 5kg |
Half-Volumetric | (15kg + 5kg) ÷ 2 = 10kg | 10kg |
Normal Volumetric | 15kg>5kg | 15kg |
Cubic Meter | (50cm x 50cm x 50cm) ÷ 1000000 | 0.125m³ |
